Partition Bar & Social
Inspired by the partition in my own life, Partition Bar & Social is a reflection of what it means to be a transracial adoptee.
I’ve had to navigate many confusing conversations and experiences regarding my cultural and racial identity. This project explores a witty twist on stereotypes, racial slurs and phrases relating to my experience with adoption, racism, and privilege.
Each drink name has a corresponding line illustration and strength rating according to the "flush-o-meter".
The primary logo combines styling of traditional Chinese jade seals and modern badge design.
